We try to keep it simple, and for the most part, we do! We know you have questions though, so the following exists to ‘fill in the blanks’.
Where are you based ?
L’Unita Trading is based in Melbourne, Australia.
Who can apply for an account with L'Unita Trading ?
L’Unita Trading are a Business to Business company serving wholesalers, distributors, retailers, online stores & mail order companies. Our full client listing includes Video Stores, Discount Outlets, Specialty Shops, Book Stores, Mom & Pop/General Stores, EBayers, Amazon Sellers, Online Retailers, Flea Market Vendors and other successful businesses both domestically and abroad.
What are the steps required to buy from L'Unita Trading ?
All L’Unita Trading clients are required to complete an Account Application Form. Once the Account Application Form has been submitted, L’Unita Trading will contact the applicant and advise if the application has been successful. If approved, L’Unita Trading will grant access to the company’s website and will issue a username/password combination so that you may access product offers and stocks lists housed in the ‘private’ areas of the site. All L’Unita Trading account holders will be added to the company’s ‘new offer notifications’ email subscriber list and will be sent new product solicitations on a regular, though ad-hock basis.

Please note: L’Unita Trading will assess all account applications independently & will advise whether an account application will be approved. L’Unita Trading reserves the right to grant or refuse any or all trading applications. Discussion with respect to the refusal to grant approval will not be entered into.

How do I request an Account Application Form?

Do I need a wholesale license to purchase from your company?
No. We are a B2B company selling to outlets & customers of various shapes and sizes.
Do you have a minimum purchase requirement?
No. L’Unita Trading provide an order service in which multiple orders can be placed from different offers. The decision to ship is generally made after consultation with L’Unita. Some L’Unita Trading customers are happy to ship once their ‘shelf orders’ hit a particular weight level. Others prefer to green light a shipment when the number of units awaiting despatch hit a particular number.
What products can I expect to see on offer from L'Unita Trading?
L’Unita Trading deal in low price, overstock and closeout products, as well as difficult to find or simply great value products. All products sold are brand new and, unless otherwise noted, are factory sealed in standard size cases with original artwork and packaging. All products are official releases, not asian imports or copies of any kind. DVD region codes will be stated on product offers (where available) and are typically either Region 4, Region 1 or Region Free. L’Unita Trading primarily sell DVD & Bluray titles, however do offer music product (CDs) on a semi-regular basis.

Please note: L’Unita Trading at times deal in closeout stock, however at no time do we deal in titles with scratched UPCs, hole punches, sale stickers or other marks on the outside packaging.

What are the region codes in use throughout the world?
DVD Region Coding

Region 1 – Canada, United States, U.S. territories, Bermuda
Region 2 – Europe, Western Asia, Egypt, Japan, Lesotho, South Africa, Swaziland, British overseas territories, French overseas territories, Greenland
Region 3 – Southeast Asia, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan
Region 4 – Australia, New Zealand, Oceania, Central and South America, Caribbean, Mexico
Region 5 – Africa, Central and South Asia, Belarus, Mongolia, North Korea, Russia, Ukraine
Region 6 – Mainland China
Region 7 – Reserved for future use (found in use on protected screener copies of MPAA-related DVDs and “media copies” of pre-releases in Asia)
Region 8 – International venues such as aircraft, cruise ships, etc.

Additionally, DVDs may be encoded as Region 0, All Region or Multi Region, which means that they are compatible throughout regions 1-6. Similarly, some DVDs region encoding may be listed as 1,2,3,4,5,6 which also indicates compatibility in all regions.
Blu-ray Region Coding

Blu-ray Region A – North America, Central America, South America, Korea, Japan & South East Asia.
Blu-ray Region B – Europe, Australia, New Zealand, French territories, Middle East, Africa & Greenland
Blu-ray Region C – China, Russia, India, Central & South Asia.

Additionally, as with DVD titles, some Blu-rays have All Region or Multi-Region encoding and are coded “ABC”.

Do you carry the newest releases?
Yes and No. Product offers differ from one day to the next so there’s no real rules as to what L’Unita carry or put on offer.
What forms of payment do you accept?
The most common method in which L’Unita Trading accept payments is via T/T or Direct Bank deposit. L’Unita Trading bank details are made available to all approved account holders. Other payment methods accepted by L’Unita Trading are credit card (cards accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and paypal.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to all states within Australia & most international locations. For International customers, we do not ship to APOs or FPOs since our usual carriers (UPS/FEDEX/DHL) do not offer delivery to those locations. Within Australia, we prefer to ship via Australia Post and therefore delivery to PO Boxes is accepted. Shipping costs are determined on an individual basis for all orders and will be discussed prior to the despatch of all orders.
I'm not based in Australia though I want to buy product from (Insert Australian Major or Independent Label Name Here).
Most Australian labels will not sell direct to offshore customers. The question is often asked ‘Can I buy (Insert Australian Label Name Here) from L’Unita Trading ?’ The simplest way to approach this is to ask the question! L’Unita Trading will make all of the necessary enquiries to determine whether this service can be provided for you.
What is your return policy?
All goods are sold on a firm sale basis.
Will you drop ship orders?
No. We do not offer drop ship services.
Can you supply me with a specific title?
At times Yes, at time no. Again, the simplest way to approach this is to ask the question! Everything in stock at any given time is available to all customers. We receive new stock multiple times per week, so the title that you are looking for may not be in stock currently, but may arrive in future shipments. Customers are encouraged to visit the L’Unita Trading website for updates of new offers and to view current stock lists. Our email subscriber list are notified when new stock arrives or when new offers have been prepared.
